Kakao Bailey's'ega / Hot Chocolate with Baileys

Minu viimase aja lemmikjoogiks on kujunenud mõru, kreemjas ja parajalt magus kakao Bailey's likööriga. Klaas kuuma jooki sobib ideaalselt enda ülessoojendamiseks või koogi asemel magustoiduks.

Valmistamisviis on ülilihtne, mina panen kõike tunde järgi. Vahest tahaks magusamat, vahest mõrumat kakaod. Siiski mõõtsin üleskirjutamiseks kogused ära, neid järgides saab palju vähem magusa ja kange joogi, kui näiteks Amsterdami kuulsas The Pancake Bakery's, kus seda esimest korda proovisin.

Kindlasti tasub katsetada erinevate Bailey's likööridega, piparmündimaitseline tundub eriti ahvatlev.

Vaja läheb (ühele):
200 ml piima
2 tl mõrudat kakaopulbrit
1/2 tl mett (või 1 tl suhkrut)
1/2 dl Bailey's likööri

vahukoort
veidi kakaopulbrit

PS. Kuna mesi kaotab suure osa oma kasulikest ainetest ja ensüümidest kuumutades, tasub see lisada kõige lõpus.

PS II. Proovi ka kohviga (:

My recent indulgence is slightly bitter, but still sweet and creamy hot chocolate with Bailey's. A cup of hot cacao is excellent to warm oneself up or as dessert.

Making this couldn't be simper, I never bother measuring out the quantities as sometimes I feel like having a sweeter drink and sometimes like a bitter one. I measured out the ingredients to write them up - this will make a less sweet and strong hot chocolate than the one they serve in the famous Pancake Bakery in Amsterdam, where I first had the drink.

It is worth having a try with the different Bailey's flavours, mint seems like an interesting one to me.

You'll need (for one):
200 ml milk
2 tsp dark cocoa powder
1/2 tsp honey (or 1 tsp sugar)
1/2 dl Bailey's

whipped cream
cocoa powder

Warm the milk in a saucepan on medium-high heat. Add the cocoa and sugar, if not using the honey, stir. Heat, stirring occasionally, until boiling. Turn off the heat, add the Bailey's and honey. Pour into a glass and serve with whipped cream decorated with cocoa powder.

PS. Honey looses a lot of it's beneficial nutrients and enzymes when heated which is why it should be added in the very end.

PS II. Try this with coffee (:
